About Me

Hi, I'm Hannah. I love welcoming people of all ages, bodies and levels of experience to the classes I teach, where we reconnect our bodies, minds and hearts on the yoga mat. I believe that yoga is about carving out space from the busyness of life to reflect and recalibrate.

In my strong flow, slow flow or yin classes, I guide a practice that is sometimes themed around a philosophical reflection, sometimes about building up to a peak pose, sometimes about working with mindfulness to meet a difficult emotion, sometimes about moving in alignment with the season. Aromatherapy-quality essential oils support whichever intention we're working with that day.

I also build my flow sequences the way I write a story. A movement is introduced quietly in the warm-up, then echoed once or twice in the standing sequence as the body opens. By the time it returns, you don't need to think your way through it. The body knows.

You're welcome exactly as you are to any of my classes. Come with all your worries and tight muscles, and we'll allow the practice to unspool some of the tension.

Big thanks to

Amanda from Thorson Photography for all the beautiful natural light photographs on this website.

Ally from NRG Pilates for her incredible support, for empowering me to build strength, gain experience and be part of the tribe.

Anna and the yoga team at Soma Women’s Wellness for creating a warm, welcoming community designed to support women of all ages.

Carla and Emma from Merry Body Studio for living and breathing Santosha. I did my 200-hour initial Yoga Teacher Training with the MerryBody community under Carla and Emma. It was the most encouraging place to learn. I’m currently doing a 75-hour Yin yoga specialisation course with this wonderful team.

Charlotte and Leslie from Breathe Strength in Long Island, NY, US. I cannot wait for the 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training course starting in December 2025. Your creative sequencing is next level.

Loraine Rushton from Zenergy Yoga for 50 hours of children’s yoga teacher training (the Foundation and Advanced courses), which was high-energy, engaging and reminded me to always make classes fun.
